CEO & Portfolio Manager
Steven has over 25 years experience working in the finance industry. He launched Geneva Capital Partners LLP in 2013, achieving 10% average returns from 2016 to 2021. He had previously worked at RBS, initially on the structuring side, then moving to credit research achieving a number 1 European ranking. He was then asked to set up of the bank’s proprietary long/short credit trading business, which he ran for a number of years with gross AUM of $10bn.
Risk and Credit Analyst
Rishi Maudhoo is responsible for risk management and operations at GCP. His career path began at Grant Thornton as an auditor for multiple offshore clients including investment funds, from 2015 to 2020. He then worked at Apex Group Ltd as a team leader in fund administration, servicing clients with a total AUM of over $900 million. Rishi joined Geneva Capital Partners in July 2022.
Chief Operating Officer
Charles works on an advisory basis for GCP. A seasoned finance professional with 21 years’ experience in the industry, Charles started his career at Morgan Stanley, working from 2000 to 2006 in operational roles. On leaving Morgan Stanley, he worked as COO for London-based investment management companies and sat on the board of several Cayman funds and Irish UCITS companies. Between 2015-2017 he held the role Head of Operations for First State Investments with responsibility for all middle office functions in the EMEA region and oversight of a major change programme. Since 2017 Charles has consulted to the asset management industry.
US Client Relations
As a Financial Consultant for Fidelity Investments, Michael was responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies for high net worth clients across the USA. At the time Michael left Fidelity in 2018 he was responsible for over $825 million in client assets.
